Two years ago, The Inspire Collective invited Rose Parker, Carly and Dee to one of their women retreats. They were invited as 3 individual musicians, but left as 1 band! The 3 ladies decided as they were all performing at the same event, so they should practice together and even perform a song together at the end of the night.
So they met up in Carly’s shed in Bayswater will all their gear. The first song they practiced was Down to the River, and as soon as they started singing – they knew. They knew it was good. So they decided to perform it again, and again and they haven’t stopped since. They were destined to meet and form this trio. So, they became The Holy Smoke!
The Holy Smoke perform their song Cross That River. “Life is pretty tricky at the moment pretty hard for people. Cross That River is about doing today, today and doing tomorrow, tomorrow! There is so much anxiety and depression out there. So this song is about being present and being in the moment.”
