Every Thursday, Kirste and Morro open the books of random facts and attempt to blow your minds. Hopefully, you love them so much that you use them around the water cooler at work.
Kirste and Morro don’t have much brains as it is, so they can’t afford to do this segment, but they do it anyway at their health’s expense!
This weeks facts were some humdingers:
- Ice Berg lettuce was once called crisp head, but was renamed when California transported the lettuce with mounds of ice (Not very exciting)
- Leonardo da Vinci invented an alarm clock that woke the sleeper by rubbing their feet
- A Male sea lion may have more than 100 wives and can go 3 months without eating (100, is that all?)
- Knowledge is growing so fast, that it is estimated that 90% of what we’ll know in 50 years time, will be discovered in 50 years (try wrap your head around that one!)
You can hear the full segment here.
