It’s confession time…Parenting is already hard enough, and to do it without a community would be even harder. So every week Bec and Jeziel share their latest adventures in parenting!
When do you stop choosing the clothes your kids wear? Bec chooses most of the outfits for her younger kids, but her 9 year old has free reign over her closet. “Within reason, like you need to wear a jacket if you are going to wear that, or maybe she’ll put some tights on. But I don’t know how I made that transition?”
Ananda’s daughter is 2 years old and chooses her own outfits. “This morning a pair of Emma’s shorts, gum boots, jumper and a yellow bow.”
“I’m in grade 12 now. When I was in Grade 6 my mum started letting me choose my own outfits. I was allowed to choose for school free dress days and my birthday. But I had to get approval from my mum anyway.”
