Dawn Service @ Kings Park & Botanic Garden, 5.50am (lights out) to 7am
- The service will be conducted at the State War Memorial on Fraser Avenue commencing at 6am. It’s recommended you start arriving from 4am
Parade through Perth City Streets from 9am
- Including The Australian Defence Force, and veteran-carrying vehicles and military jeeps, the Ex-Services Unit, Corps, Regimental Associations

Plan your trip with Transperth
As train services for the Dawn Service are expected to be very busy, Transperth strongly encourages all passengers to plan their journey and catch the train as early as possible to avoid missing the service. Additional trains will be operating with extra capacity for the event, with trains arriving in the city from 4.20am.
Midland Line – departing Midland Station 4.08am, 4.23am and 4.40am
Armadale Line – departing Armadale Station 3.49am, 4.04am and 4.19am
Fremantle Line – departing Fremantle Station 4.05am, 4.20am and 4.37am
Mandurah Line – departing Mandurah Station 3.35am, 3.50am, 4.05am and 4.20am
Joondalup Line – departing Butler Station 3.41am, 3.56am, 4.11am and 4.26am.
Shuttle buses to Kings Park will depart from the Elizabeth Quay Bus Station from 4.25am. If you are travelling on the Fremantle, Midland, or Armadale lines, you will need to transfer to Perth Underground and catch the train to Elizabeth Quay Station. If you’re travelling on the Joondalup or Mandurah lines, exit at Elizabeth Quay and walk to the bus station.
Buses to Kings Park will also be busy, so Transperth recommends getting into the city and on a bus as early as possible.
Please note, while buses are accessible, some of the locations that we’ll be operating from (eg. within Kings Park) are not accessible. Please refer to the RSL website for detailed information and assistance.
Buses will run to a standard Public Holiday timetable and some deviations will be in place due to CBD road closures. Check Service Disruptions closer to the time for more information.
Kings Park Internal Shuttle
Route 621 will operate between the Vietnam War Memorial and the coach terminus near Wadjuk Way between 4.25am and approximately 9am.
