An Indonesian student became a millionaire overnight, after selling a thousand selfies as NFTs! Sultan Gustaf Al Ghozali, is a 22-year-old computer science student. For the last 5 years, he has been documenting everyday he spent studying by taking a selfie. He planned to create a video time lapse to show at his graduation.

After learning about NFTs he put them up for sale in December. The price soared, after a celebrity chef purchased a few of the images last week. He was flooded with more than 400 people purchasing the ownership rights to his images. This high demand saw the price rise. He hopes to open his own animation studio with the money, and will continue to take selfies and finish his time lapse.
