Mental Health Week is annual celebration to promote the importance of mental health.

Adrian Munro, from Richmond Wellbeing, joined Mike to tell us more about this year’s theme: ‘Mental health starts with our children.’ If we want people to be mentally healthy in their adult life, we need to focus on the mental health of children and youth.

This involves helping your kids build resilience by teaching them they can’t be good at everything. Resilience allows kids to get themselves through difficult situations. “If children don’t have the opportunity to come second, or fail, or not achieve. How are they going to have the skills to deal with that when it happens?

Do you have any mental health questions for Adrian. Let us know by texting or messaging us on socials. Listen to the full chat below!
