This week Asa, tells us about the latest news which is sadly cruel and confusing.
Robbers have left a farmer from a far north New Zealand farm gutted as they stole $100,000 worth of avocados. That’s right a group of “bloody mongrels” as described by the farmer, ravished over 115 avocados trees.
The farmer says hes heartbroken, but what is most upsetting is that the fruit will never ripen, leaving the produce just a waste.
New Zealand Avocado chief executive Jen Scoular said they’ve had a number of reports of avocado theft across all avocado growing regions in NZ throughout July.
