A New Zealand man found his passport chewed up and shredded hours before his flight

Monique and her husband Steve were preparing for their trip to Fiji, but their dog Kevin had other plans. Fortunately, after calling an after-hours service they managed to get a new passport issued. Despite difficulties in getting the photo approved. “It kept rejecting the photos; you have nine chances, and we nearly used all of them.” But his passport arrived safely four hours later and cost him around $2000! So Bec and Jeziel wanted to know how close were you to missing a flight?

@moniquekaminski So getting ready to leave for Fiji first thing in the morning….our dog Kevin thought the passport was a lil snack. #mydogatemypassport #emergencypassport #help #japanesespitz #puppychewingeverything ♬ Oh No (Instrumental) – Kreepa

Louise was travelling to London with her 11-year-old son. They had a stopover in Bangkok and were waiting in the lounge. But when it was time to board their flight her son wouldn’t wake up. She also didn’t realise how big the airport was and found out she was miles away from the departure lounge. So she put him in a wheelchair and raced through the airport. “We get to the departure lounge and he wakes up and goes what happened. Why am I in a wheelchair?”

Jo was living in Sydney and her friend was visiting from Perth. She waited at the airport but she never arrived. Her friend’s flight was at midnight and she was supposed to arrive at 10 pm the day before to board the plane on time. “She got the ticket wrong. She had the total day wrong.”
