Playgrounds used to be a lot simpler 20 years ago. There would be a simple climbing frame, a see-saw and a 3 piece swing set with one swing stuck at the top of the bar thanks to an overzealous naughty child playing a prank.

We’ll maybe I’m sharing my own personal experience of playgrounds in the north-west of England. Luckily for kids of the post-2000 era playgrounds have morphed into an astronomical level of creativity of fun with the little ones.

No need to use your imagination to improve playing experience, it’s all right in front of you.  Proud parents have been sharing their home-made playgrounds on  My Favourite Holiday and some of them are beauts!
